Bedrooms are available from 4:00pm and must be vacated by 11: 00am.If you require an later check out, we will do our best to accommodate requests, subject to availability. Extra charges may apply. Alternatively, we can store your luggage at reception free of charge.  Please note the hotel is closed from 6pm Sundays to 4pm Monday each week.

We are currently not able to do conferences due to the hotel being closed 11am – 4pm every day.

Doctor

If you are feeling unwell, please call the NHS 9,111. You can call 111 to speak to a fully trained adviser. Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP, and can arrange face-to-face appointments if they think you need one. NHS 111 advisers can also assess if you need an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary.

Electricity

The Hotel electricity supply is 240 volts AC, 50hz.A selection of electrical adaptors are available on loan from Reception dial 0.

Electric fans are located in your wardrobe.

FIRE PRECAUTIONS

 

Please familiarise yourself with the fire evacuation procedures on the back of your bedroom door and your nearest fire escape routes.

Guests with reduced hearing, sight or mobility conditions are advised to contact reception (dial 0), so assistance may be provided, in the case of an emergency evacuation.

We test our fire alarm every Thursday at approximately 11.00am

All rooms are equipped with hairdryers.

Iron and Ironing board

All rooms are equipped with an iron and ironing board.

Alsager Railway station is 0.25 miles from the hotel.  Trains can be caught to Crewe and Stoke on Trent mainline stations. For details of local buses and their routes, please contact Reception, dial 0.

Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and comfortable stay in pleasant and friendly surroundings. If you experience problems, have queries or suggestions, you would like to discuss, we would be grateful if you would contact the Manager on duty, prior to departure, so that, if necessary; we might take appropriate action immediately. Security of Valuables

There are safes in all bedrooms. If you require assistance please contact reception, dial 0.

We draw your attention to the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, a copy of which is displayed in the reception area.

Smoking/Vaping Policy

The hotel operates a strict No Smoking/Vaping policy throughout the buildings including bedrooms.

Be aware that Smoking and Vaping may also activate our fire alarm system and may necessitate a full hotel evacuation causing unnecessary inconvenience to all guests. External designated smoking areas are provided, to the rear of the hotel adjacent to the conservatory, the courtyard area next to Stables Bar & Grill. A charge of £100 will automatically be added to the account of any guest found to have smoked or Vaped in a room or public area, this is to cover the cost of professional cleaning and deodorising.

Swimming Pool and gym

Our Swimming Pool is closed. The gym is open 7am – 10am and 4pm – 9pm daily. You will need to change and shower in your bedroom.

Walking/Jogging Maps

Check out the Cheshire Cycleway website which can be found at www.cheshirecycleway.co.uk. This lists many local routes to enjoy the surrounding area by bike.

Taxi Service

Taxis can be arranged through Reception, dial “0”. Local Taxi drivers accept only cash. We cannot advance cash or charge fares to room accounts. We suggest you give reception at least 30min advance notice. We cannot be responsible for the lateness or availability of taxi services.

Tea / Coffee

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in your room.  Stocks are replenished daily, additional items and fresh milk can be requested through Reception, dial “0”.

Select guide on your remote for channel selection.

Toiletries

Have you forgotten something? Do not worry, Reception have a stock of various toiletries and grooming items. Feminine hygiene products and condoms are available through vending machines in the washrooms on the ground floor.

Ice

Ice is available 24 hours from Reception, dial “0”.

Water

The tap water in your room is safe to drink.  However, you may prefer still or sparkling bottled water which is available 24 hours, from Reception, dial “0”

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the hotel and third-party telephone support is available between 8.00am and 10.00pm daily should you have problems connecting. Please ask at our team, dial “0” for more information.
